High-Impact Injuries

When competition gets intense and athletes push themselves, injuries occur. Some of the most damaging and frightening are high-impact or traumatic injuries. They usually come with little warning, and are by nature dramatic.

Baseball, basketball, football, handball, hockey, karate, racquetball, rugby, running, soccer, skiing, snowboarding and waterskiing are all associated with these maladies.
